Life list
Every reptile and amphibian you have found, with your own photos. Open a country to see what you have seen there and what you have not. Build your own checklists for the species you are still after.
Explore
Explore ranks the species most often recorded around you at this time of year. Search any country or region to plan ahead, with a month by month strip for each species so you know when to go.
Trips
A trip is shared. Invite the people coming with you, and everyone logs into the same trip from their own phone. Tag a friend on a find and they can put it on their own life list with one tap. You all see one journal, one map and one species list, whoever logged what.

Privacy
You decide how much to say about where you were, and you can pick an area as broad as you like. Only that area is saved, with its centre rounded to a 2 km cell. Exact coordinates are never stored: not for your friends, not for us, not even for you.
You never have to hand over your GPS position. Name the area yourself, as vague as you like. Only its centre is stored, rounded to a cell of roughly 2 km.
Photos are re-encoded on your phone before upload, which removes the GPS and camera metadata. Only the picture is uploaded.
Notes can be private, your photo gallery can be hidden from followers, and you can require approval before anyone follows you.

Everything from before you joined is unlimited. Import your whole history and your past trips: none of it counts against the caps.
Supporter
A monthly or yearly subscription that lifts the three limits and pays for the servers and the database behind Agama. Cancel any time from the store.
Agama is not on the App Store or Google Play yet. The buttons on this page will turn into real download links as soon as it is.
Yes. Import your iNaturalist observations by username, or a spreadsheet (xlsx or csv). A row needs a species and a country. The date can be a bare year or left out, the place can be rough, and no photo is needed. Records you already logged are skipped, so re-importing a corrected sheet does not double anything up.
Yes. If you only look for one group you can hide the other everywhere in the app: search, checklists, Explore and your life list.
It waits on your phone and uploads when you are back in signal, photos included. You can keep logging all week with no bars.
The countries and the numbers, never a spot. Whoever opens a link you sent sees the trip or the species, and can open it in the app if they have it.
Nothing is deleted. Your records, trips and photos stay exactly as they are. The free limits simply apply again to new species, new trips and new photos.
Yes. Settings writes a CSV with the same columns the importer reads, so you can edit it and bring it straight back in. Photos stay in the app.
